Maandodari's First Exhibition In Delhi

Can't believe it's going to be almost a year since I started Maandodari. I had this feeling always that I wanted to start something of my own for a long time, in my life over time when I started blogging about beauty products to vlogging on my YouTube channel, I always wanted to do more.

Finally, after a lot of thought process, a lot of research, a lot of investment, and a lot of paperwork Maandodari was born in April 2024.

Starting a business is not easy, as a human being we always have self-doubts, thanks to my husband for encouraging me to go for it and I'm grateful for that.

And now in January 2025, I finally got a chance to do a pop-up shop a.k.a exhibition stall through the American Embassy in New Delhi. Since our budget is tight, doing an exhibition inside a fancy mall might not be possible right now but after a few interviews and after a few rejections we finally managed to get an opportunity to do an exhibition at the US Embassy for a week.

It was a learning experience, traveling every morning for a week from Noida to Delhi and back by Metro and Auto. Waiting at the shop for customers to come and trying to sell them the products. The face-to-face interaction and the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone.

We sold our Greeting Cards, Envelopes, and Shagun Envelopes and this time we added bright colorful handmade wrapping paper at our exhibition stall.

I'm grateful for this new opportunity and the new people I met through this medium. It was definitely tiring but fun.

Hoping to do more exhibitions soon for Maandodari.
